Due to COVID-19, NIA will be offering it's clubs and teams an online way to interact for the remainder of 2019-2020 school year!
Please refer to our COVID-19 page for updates, tools, resources, and assistance.
Our teachers, line staff, and administration are dedicated to ensuring that our students continue their work uninterrupted and seamlessly.
Our goal at NIA/PS 179 Beacon Community Center is to deliver a seamless way for our students to interact with our teachers, educators and each other during this public health crisis.
With the safety of students being our top priority, we are adopting a
distance-learning model. NIA provides unique learning experiences to help students reinforce their day school lessons, develop important life skills, and grow socially and emotionally. We want to continue to offer as many of these experiences as possible during these changing times.
There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about the website. We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to come into our classroom for any questions or concerns.
